Books in English
At the present time, four books are available in English
Loves Hidden Symmetry ISBN 1-891944-00-2 Bert Hellinger, Gunthard Weber and Hunter Beaumont have collaborated to present a beautiful collage of poetry, healing stories, transcripts of psychotherapeutic work, and moving explanations of the hidden dynamics that love follows in intimate relationships. Original and provocative enough to change how you think about familiar themes.
Touching Love Volume 2 (a workshop documentation)ISBN 3-89670-122-3 A moving documentation of a workshop led by Bert Hellinger and Hunter Beaumont in USA 1998. Of particular interest is their cooperative work with one another and their ability harmonize their different styles. Primarily for therapists wanting to study the process in detail, but also of interest to the general reader.
Acknowledging What Is Bert Hellinger and Gabriele ten Hövel ISBN 1-891944-32-0 The prize winning journalist, Gabriele ten Hövel, asks Bert Hellinger the provocative questions you have wanted to ask, and because she is deeply interested in understanding, Hellinger answers clearly. Beautifully translated into English by Colleen Beaumont, MSW.
Supporting Love: How Love Works in Couples Relationships, ISBN Johannes Neuhauser, ed. Again, beautifully translated by Colleen Beaumont, this book documents Bert Hellingers work with couples. Johannes Neuhauser (who is also the director/producer of the video documentation of Hellingers work) has edited the transcripts of a workshop for couples and has added material from Hellingers lectures and elsewhere. It offers a new perspective on the hidden dynamics in couple relationships.
Touching Love Volume 1 (out of print, for those of you who wanted to know)
Farewell Documents Hellingers work with the children of both perpetrators and victims, primarily of the Holocaust. This book is a milestone, because it demonstrates clearly that what we do has consequences, and denying our guilt merely shifts the consequences onto our children and grandchildren. It is profoundly moving to follow family after family, and to discover how the children of both victims and perpetrators suffer equally from their families hidden past.
Love's Own Truth Together with Loves Hidden Symmetry, Hellingers major work.
